Advanced Firearms (5 Day)
Students will receive the skillset that is necessary to develop the combat mindset. On day one, the student will participate in a review of individual students’ weapon handling skills. Each day will build upon the lessons learned the previous day. As each day progresses, the training regimen difficulty increases.

NOTE: This is a 5 day course. This means that the course will run for 5 days from an available starting date, which can be selected below.
Students will receive the skillset that is necessary to develop the combat mindset. On day one, the student will participate in a review of individual students’ weapon handling skills. Each day will build upon the lessons learned the previous day. As each day progresses, the training regimen difficulty increases. The student will participate in building clearings, hasty defense drills, and ambush defense techniques. Shooting with offhand, injury simulations, shooting from barricaded positions and effective use of cover. Training sessions are provided using live fire and Simunition training as well as incorporating multimedia technology. The course culminates on day 5 with a session involving force on force engagement that will require the student to properly execute the skills that have been developed. Students will learn the following: effective use of cover, incorporation of long guns, communication, moving as a cohesive and effective team and the incorporation of unarmed combat skills to enhance weapon skills, weapon retention drills and the combative mindset to manage the body’s response to combat.
